When I established my interior design studio in Melbourne in 2015, my approach was to “start with the art”, allowing an artwork’s colours and atmosphere to guide the entire room scheme.
Yet I often found it difficult to source lampshades and cushions with the depth and breadth of colour needed to bring the scheme together. Rather than compromise, I created my own collection: silk lampshades and cushions designed to act as a bridge between art and interior, drawing out subtle tones, enriching the surrounding palette and shaping the atmosphere through light, colour and texture.
Inspired by the textiles of my childhood and the distinctive colours of Australia, each piece is made to help artwork resonate throughout a room, creating interiors that feel layered, harmonious and deeply personal.
